Job summary

QPS Employment is seeking Assemblers for a 1st shift opportunity in Fall River. This role offers a wage range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour with a 1st shift from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and optional overtime from 04:00 AM to 09:00 AM on Saturdays.

We welcome newcomers to manufacturing and those with some experience to apply. Responsibilities include reading assembly instructions, positioning parts, measuring components, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Strong basic math skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments.
Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
Good finger and hand dexterity.
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and torque values.
Previous experience in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

Study assembly instructions, blueprint specs, and parts lists to gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies, examine connections for fit, and fasten components.
Measure completed components to verify specs and adjust as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
Monitor supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
