Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division is seeking an Assembler for a 1st shift with a 4-day work week. Training is provided on the job and benefit eligibility begins on day one.

Responsibilities include assembling, wiring, and soldering electrical components along with wire stripping, crimping, and cutting, plus occasional mechanical adjustments. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred 1 year of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English, perform basic arithmetic with accuracy.
• Consistently perform work in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
• Functions well in a team environment.

Assembler Job Duties

• Assembles, wires, solders
• Performs all stripping, crimping, and cutting operations related to wires, regardless of size.
• Makes mechanical adjustments as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English, add, subtract, count and record with extreme accuracy, measure, multiply and divide whole numbers efficiently and follow instructions.
• Consistently perform work in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
• Responds well to changes and demonstrates initiative.
• Accepts responsibility for actions and work performed. Generally has a positive attitude.
