Job summary

Dane Manufacturing Company is hiring an Assembler/Finisher to join our manufacturing team in Waunakee, WI. You will assemble metal components, grind and finish parts, and ensure quality before moving to the next step.

You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and help prepare surfaces for coating while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role emphasizes hands-on work, reliability, and teamwork, with a Monday–Thursday 4:30 AM–2:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

  • Read and follow blueprints, drawings, or work instructions.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Read calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble fabricated metal components using work instructions and drawings.
  • Grind, sand, deburr, and polish metal parts to remove sharp edges.
  • Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly and quality standards.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting or coating and report defects.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
