PeopleShare by PROMAN in Romeoville, IL is hiring for a Material Handler / Forklift Operator. This temp-to-hire role offers $20.00–$21.50 per hour and weekly pay on first or second shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM).

You will operate forklifts, move materials, pick and stage orders, load and unload shipments, verify inventory, and support warehouse operations while staying safe and accurate. Attendance, reliability, and willingness to work on and off the forklift are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required
• Material handling, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Basic computer skills a plus
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work both on and off the forklift throughout the shift

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders

Now Hiring: Material Handlers / Forklift Operators

PeopleShare is seeking experienced Material Handlers to join a busy distribution and warehouse team in Romeoville, IL.

This is not just a forklift position. Associates should be comfortable spending time both on and off the forklift performing material handling duties, picking orders, loading and unloading trailers, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, staging shipments, and supporting general warehouse operations.

Assignment Details

These are temp-to-hire opportunities. Successful associates who demonstrate strong attendance, performance, and reliability may be considered for permanent employment based on business needs and available openings.
