Job summary

Northrop & Johnson is seeking a 1st Mate for a private 37m motor yacht based in Fort Lauderdale, US. This permanent role is open to US citizens or Green Card holders, with a start date immediate and travel including San Diego, Costa Rica, Panama Canal, and Florida in 2027.

The package is $7,000 per month. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Mate on similar vessels, strong bridge/watch skills, and leadership ability to supervise the deck crew; a 100GT license or

• Males due to cabin arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Join a private 37m motor yacht crew of 4 as 1st Mate.
• Lead the deck crew with professional leadership and presence.
• Confidently drive the 40-foot tender and monitor navigational watch.
• Begin work immediately with the Captain and Owners.
