Position Title: First Grade Elementary Certified Teacher
Position Summary

Provide curriculum and instruction to first grade students in reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, health, social skills, and related areas.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the curriculum fully across all relevant subjects.
  • Deliver engaging, integrated, and developmentally appropriate classroom instruction.
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse performance levels.
  • Use formative assessments to guide instruction in reading and math.
  • Supervise students at all times during school hours.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning.
  • Maintain communication and relationships with parents.
  • Participate in meetings, planning, professional development, and staff activities.
  • Perform all other duties typical of a classroom teacher.
Qualifications

Must be certified in elementary education, hold a valid Indiana teaching license, and be highly qualified.
