Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Elementary Teacher for 1st grade at Hiller Elementary School in Michigan. The position is exempt and compensation will be determined by the appropriate step on the Teachers' Salary Schedule.

The candidate must hold a Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate and demonstrate the ability to create lesson plans, use student data to guide instruction, and collaborate with staff, students, and parents to support student growth.

Qualifications

Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate, required.
Experience with Reading, Writing and Math Workshop models.
Experience using student data to drive instruction in all subject areas.
Ability to create lesson plans and implement instructional strategies to address the needs of students in various classroom settings.
Strong commitment to educating students.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, students and parents.
Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) and online sourcing tools.
