Qualifications

• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate
• Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Kanawha County Schools' standards-based curriculum based on WV Content Standards and Objectives
• Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs
• Incorporate 21st century technology skills in instruction
• Collaborate with special education staff to support students
• Coordinate co-curricular activities and field trips when assigned
• Be accountable for individual student achievement
• Provide personalized learning for all students
• Maintain effective classroom management and communication with students, parents, and peers
• Support school improvement programs as directed by the Principal
• Perform supervisory or other duties as assigned by Principal
