How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction following the company's philosophy, goals, and curriculum guidelines.
• Create purposeful lesson plans with effective teaching strategies to maximize student engagement.
• Present subject matter using real-world examples to enhance learning.
• Review student records to understand individual abilities and needs; maintain accurate records.
• Maximize each student's educational achievement using varied learning modalities and differentiated instruction.
• Use diagnostic assessments regularly and provide feedback through progress reports.
• Refer students with learning difficulties to support staff and review student work and presentations.
• Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Stay current with subject matter knowledge and contribute to curriculum development.
• Assist in curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials.
• Identify and utilize supplemental services to support student learning.

Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning

• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with students and demonstrate patience and nurturing.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom with student work on display.
• Establish and enforce classroom and playground rules fairly and consistently.

Instructional Planning

• Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
• Design individual and group activities to meet instructional goals.
• Prepare thoroughly for each class and participate in curriculum planning meetings.
• Incorporate diagnostic information from IEPs into planning and ensure resource safety.

School/Community Relations

• Build cooperative relationships and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and participate in parent engagement activities.
• Engage in extracurricular activities to promote a positive school culture.

Required Qualifications And Skills

Job Requirements
