How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement instruction consistent with the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
  • Create purposeful and effective lesson plans with appropriate strategies.
  • Present subject matter to maximize learning, incorporating real-world examples.
  • Review student records to understand abilities and needs; maintain accurate records.
  • Maximize educational achievement for each student.
  • Use diverse learning modalities and differentiated instruction.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments regularly; assess student strengths and weaknesses.
  • Refer students with learning problems to support staff; correct and review student work; prepare students for assessments.
  • Coordinate class field trips and assist in curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials.
  • Stay current in subject matter and learning theories, sharing knowledge for curriculum improvement.

Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning

  • Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Maintain positive rapport and demonstrate patience and nurturing.
  • Ensure classroom cleanliness and safety; display student work appropriately.
  • Develop and enforce classroom and playground rules fairly and consistently.

Instructional Planning

  • Develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines and goals.
  • Design individual and group activities to meet objectives and student needs.
  • Prepare thoroughly for classes and participate in curriculum planning.
  • Incorporate diagnostic information, including IEP considerations, into planning.

School/Community Relations

  • Establish cooperative relationships and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
  • Use appropriate communication channels; maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities to promote school culture and support students and staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong enthusiasm and commitment aligned with the company's mission and values.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills in oral, written, and interpersonal domains.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Student Information Systems, and email.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent; valid teaching certification.
  • 1-3 years of successful teaching experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of learning theories, motivation, reinforcement, and evaluation techniques.
