Job summary

Sage Connections is seeking a full-time 1st Grade Teacher to provide K–12 school-based services for the 2026–2027 year. This position is onsite in Ohio and offers a supportive team environment with growth opportunities.

You’ll plan engaging lessons, track progress, and collaborate with families to nurture a love of learning. We value teachers who are passionate about literacy, numeracy, and inclusive education, and who hold an Ohio license for 1st grade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license for 1st grade.
• Experience in elementary school settings preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional differentiation skills.
• Ability to support students with varying academic, developmental, and cultural backgrounds.
• Passion for fostering foundational literacy, numeracy, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging 1st Grade instruction aligned with state curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
