Job summary

Oak Creek Elementary is seeking a Certified Grade 1st Long-Term Substitute Teacher to begin in February 2027 for approximately 11 weeks. The candidate must be licensed for the Ohio Department of Education and active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified ESCCO substitute.

Employment is through ESCCO with district posting and deadlines. A strong commitment to student safety and learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Ohio licensure and be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with ESCCO.
• Position is 1st Grade long-term substitute beginning February 2027 for ~11 weeks.
• Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students and follow the instructional scope and sequence.
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Observe ethics of the teaching profession.
