Job Description: 1st Class Structural Fitter at Swiftships

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Six years of relevant experience.
• Pass the approved 1st–Class Fitter Test.
• Ability to work from construction drawings.
• Knowledge of shipboard terminology and measurement systems.
• Advanced understanding of engineering drawings and sketches.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, working at heights, and working in confined spaces, in various weather conditions, while adhering to OSHA standards.

The work environment includes exposure to loud noise, mechanical parts, and potential chemical hazards, with appropriate PPE required.
