POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Pipe Welder with at least 1 year of tig/flux pipe welding experience. The candidate will prepare and weld pipe and fittings for various material types as specified by construction drawings and technical guidance documents.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum of 1 year of tig/flux pipe welding experience
2. Pass a hands-on tig/flux pipe welding test on pipe in a 6G position on 2” pipe with 3/32” wall thickness using a gas purge with a 1/8” root opening with all uphill weld progression
3. Ability to work night shifts

SKILLS

1. Proficiency in FCAW and tig welding techniques
2. Strong understanding of welding procedures and best practices

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare and weld pipe and fittings for various material types according to construction drawings and technical guidance documents
