POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated CuNiPipe Fitter with at least 6 months of CuNi (Copper Nickel) pipe fitting experience. The candidate will perform layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 months of CuNi (Copper Nickel) pipe fitting experience
• Pass a hands-on pipe fitter test by
  • Fitting a CuNi pipe using a cutting grinder (Metabo) to make a square cut
  • Applying a bevel using a grinder with a sanding disc
  • Cutting the opposing end of the pipe to saddle a pipe of the same size at a 90-degree angle
  • Perform silver brazing of a socket joint pipe in the horizontal (flat and horizontal flow) and vertical (vertical up flow) position in accordance with ASME requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Layout, fabricate, and install CuNi piping systems according to technical specifications
• Test and repair pipe systems as needed to ensure proper functionality and compliance
• Use precision tools and equipment, including grinders and sanders, to prepare pipes for installation
