Job summary

STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado seeks a passionate 1st–8th grade Computer Science Homeschool Enrichment Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. You will design hands-on lessons building coding, digital literacy, and robotics skills within a collaborative learning environment.

You will foster curiosity, collaboration, and resilience while connecting technology concepts to real-world STEM applications. The role is part-time, with a 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule and multiple sessions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Education, CS, or STEM education is required.
• Valid state teaching license or endorsement in CS, STEM, or Elementary Education.
• Experience teaching or integrating technology and coding with elementary students.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st - 8th grade Computer Science Homeschool Enrichment Teacher to join our dynamic team 2026 - 2027 school year. The 1st - 8th grade Computer Science Homeschool Enrichment Teacher inspires young learners to explore, create, and innovate through technology. This educator designs and delivers engaging lessons that build foundational computer science and robotics skills—including coding, digital literacy, problem-solving, and computational thinking—within a collaborative, hands-on learning environment. The teacher fosters curiosity, creativity, and resilience while connecting technology concepts to real-world applications and STEM disciplines.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting of 5 to 50 pounds.

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays; four 8 week sessions from late August until May
• Includes 5 professional development and room set up days
• 2- Friday field trips each 8 week session
• 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• This is a part time position.

This position will be open until filled, but will not be open past: August 31, 2026.
