Position Overview

Anchor Fabrication is seeking highly motivated Welders to join our welding department. The role involves welding parts accurately and efficiently, meeting or exceeding customer specifications by reading blueprints and weld symbols, and ensuring proper machine setup, shielding gas, weld position, and filler material. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment, contributing to our company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts according to customer specifications, ensuring both structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Interpret and utilize weld symbols and blueprints.
• Set up welding machines appropriately for each job.
• Verify dimensions and fit using handheld measuring tools.
• Perform MIG, fillet, uphill, and double V groove welding.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all safety procedures, including PPE use.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of welding experience.
• Dependable and punctual performance.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

This position requires physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and chemicals. Weld testing on site must be satisfactory.
