Job summary

United Protective Services is seeking a 1st/2nd Shift Security Flex Officer to join our Dallas team. The position features a flexible schedule across shifts to cover open shifts at multiple client sites, with a starting rate of $17.00 per hour.

As a Flex Officer, you will perform foot patrols, deter incidents, and coordinate with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Immediate response to open shift coverage.

• Ensure equipment is maintained and accounted for.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Work outside in the elements.

United Protective Services is looking for a reliable security officer who has a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates are available to work any shift with a changing schedule, including overnight shifts if possible. Flex Officers get the benefit of higher pay than most regular Officers but need to be open to working a changing schedule from week to week. Flex officers work at a variety of client sites to fill in for call-offs, vacations, and open schedules.

Must be able to conduct foot patrols and have a high customer service personality.

The candidate will provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Security personnel will always perform job duties with a constant awareness of their surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area. Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service.

Job Duties

• Immediate response to open shift coverage when dispatched by the management team.
• Engage in conflict resolution on-site
• Assists client with duties as assigned.
• Maintains daily activity logs in accordance to post orders.
• Creates incident reports for unique incidents on site.
• Observe and report all suspicious activity in accordance with post orders.
• Ensures all United Protective Services equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during and after each shift.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outside in the elements.
• Additional job duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Must be able to pass drug test.
