Job Description

This role involves various responsibilities related to bakery operations. The main duties include:

• Providing friendly and courteous customer service
• Assisting customers with product selections and suggestive selling
• Processing incoming bakery products from vendors
• Preparing breads, rolls, doughnuts, and pastries according to recipes
• Cutting, weighing, and molding dough
• Proofing and baking products, inspecting for quality
• Reviewing production schedules and assembling supplies
• Packaging and labeling baked goods
• Stocking and rotating product displays
• Preparing products for thrift stores and baking cookies
• Recording inventory and ordering supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment

Training will be provided at the store level. Physical demands include bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for entire shifts (4-8 hours).

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks for store/facility teammates; one year for support center teammates
• Must be in good standing and have manager approval for interviews
