Job summary

Rollout Systems seeks a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to advance secure software delivery for our enterprise IT environment. The role offers a hybrid work schedule and opportunities to scale AWS-based CI/CD platforms, implement secure pipelines, and mentor teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in DevSecOps, hands-on AWS ECS/EKS, Docker and Kubernetes, and strong communication skills for briefings and training across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations groups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically Amazon ECS and EKS, alongside Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in at least one modern language: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or .NET.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence).
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with demonstrated experience creating user guides, test plans, technical briefings, and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and continuous automation initiatives.
• Develop and sustain containerized operational environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving container images, artifact repositories, SSL/TLS certificates, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate platform features, resolve system defects, and continuously improve pipeline tooling infrastructure.
• Execute regression testing and validation for platform, infrastructure, and pipeline updates.
• Deliver technical support, hands-on training, system demonstrations, and actionable guidance to internal and external project teams.
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, test plans, and SOPs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to enforce secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will help shape the future of secure software delivery by integrating emerging technologies, scaling AWS-based CI/CD platforms, and optimizing deployment workflows. We value continuous learning and actively support professional development and technical conference attendance. The ideal candidate will evaluate, test, and implement pipeline enhancements using GitLab and modern DevSecOps tools, provide expert troubleshooting support, and effectively communicate across all organizational levels, from mentoring peers and training customers to delivering technical briefings to leadership.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically Amazon ECS and EKS, alongside Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in at least one modern language: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or .NET.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence).

DESIRED
