Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in district and school professional development.
• Comply with all district policies and procedures.
• Assist in weekly planning with the certified teacher, minimum 30 minutes.
• Model reading, writing, and speaking skills for students.
• Reinforce skills with large and small groups under teacher guidance.
• Monitor student work and communicate misunderstandings for reteaching.
• Assist with escorts and safety of students in common areas.
• Maintain student records and support educational displays.
• Support physical activities to strengthen motor skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or certified teacher.
