Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a customer service teammate for our store environment. You will provide friendly service, bag purchases, and assist customers by carrying items to their cars while keeping aisles and checkout areas clean and organized.

Attending regularly is essential, and training will be provided at store level. The role may require lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in seasonal weather. Internal candidates encouraged.

• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars

• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management

TRAINING Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Bending stooping. Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time. Able to work outside in seasonal weather. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours).

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
