Job summary

Sigma Defense in Fairmont, WV is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on development of electronic warfare programs, with a requirement for U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.

You will work in a structured, multidisciplinary environment, contribute to requirements and design, and participate in testing and installation support, using C++, Python, Bash, Linux, and container technologies.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in software engineering/development using Git-based tools.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and Bash scripting on Linux.
• Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
• Background in math or physics is desired.
• Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 annually.
