Job summary

EMBEE in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Electroplater 1 for the 2nd shift to plate parts and provide corrosion and abrasion protection. This full-time role requires a US person due to ITAR regulations.

Under supervision, you will read blueprints and set voltage/amperage, immerse parts in acid tanks and finishing tanks, inspect plating quality, rack parts, and log production data while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, read and understand English.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and purchase orders.
• Ability to follow instructions, specifications and plating procedures.
• Experience of procedures to run acid tanks and equipment set up for plating.
• Possess good attention to detail to identify problems with parts.
• Comfortable using a computer for data entry.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $18.00 To $22.00 Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the department Supervisor, the Electroplater is responsible for performing the plating of metallic parts to enhance corrosion protection and/or abrasion resistance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans processes and sequence of the operation to complete plating.

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.
• Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
