Job summary

All Metals Processing of Orange County is seeking a Helper/Laborer to support plating operations. You will move parts on and off racks, assist with prep and packaging, and perform general duties in the department.

This role requires comfort with basic tools, exposure to acids and chemicals, and attention to detail, with ITAR restrictions requiring US person status. Physical work includes standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and wearing respirator in production areas.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using basic tools such as wire cutters and air hose.
• Able to work on a platform with tanks of acid and chemicals.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.
• Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

• Tightens bolts and screws with equipment and tools on saddle racks to ensure they are secure.

• Use air hose to dry parts upon completion of plating cycle.
• Prepares and packages parts for shipping.
• Adheres to safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Helper/Laborer is responsible for putting parts on and off the racks so that they may be prepped and ready for plating process, prepare and package parts, as well as perform general duties within the department.

• Performs bending of aluminum wires on racks to ensure parts are secure and adequately placed.
• Tightens bolts and screws with equipment and tools on saddle racks to ensure they are secure.
