Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC seeks an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer in Huntsville to lead end-to-end EW system engineering for DoD programs. You will oversee RF systems, signal processing, hardware integration, and verification across multi-disciplinary teams to prototype, test, and field advanced EW capabilities.

The role requires experience across RF architectures, SDRs, embedded computing, and lab/field testing, with a focus on safe, capable, and secure DoD solutions. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience designing or integrating RF or EW systems.
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering processes.
• Experience developing technical documentation.
• Experience integrating complex hardware and software systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems engineering lifecycle from concept development through production and fielding.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, ICDs, and verification plans.
• Perform requirements decomposition, allocation, and traceability.
• Develop system architectures, block diagrams, and technical baselines.
• Design and integrate RF, communications, EA/ES/EP systems; integrate SDRs and RF hardware.
• Support schematic development, PCB integration, and hardware packaging.
• Develop CONOPS and operational employment concepts.
• Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and PRR reviews.

Sigma Defense is seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer to responsible for the end-to-end engineering, integration, and technical execution of advanced Electronic Warfare systems supporting U.S. Department of Defense customers. The position requires expertise in RF systems, systems engineering, signal processing, hardware integration, and system verification. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop, prototype, test, and field next-generation EW capabilities for operational environments.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive)
