Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC in White Sands Missile Range, NM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The position focuses on real-time EW systems, radar usage, and the design, testing, and integration of advanced equipment. Candidates must be a U.S.

citizen and able to obtain an active Secret clearance. Responsibilities include evaluating and troubleshooting complex system designs, supporting field tests, spectrum management, and developing EA/ES techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Engineering, Analysis, or related STEM field.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/hold an active security clearance (Secret or higher).
• Strong understanding of terrestrial EW and radar employment, capabilities, and limitations.
• Experience interpreting/drafting technical drawings and work packages.
• Ability to use and interpret electronic test equipment.
• Experience with maintenance/repair and/or installation/integration of advanced equipment.
• Familiarity with RF equipment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Problem solving in a large real-time EW system environment.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and develop complex system designs and architectures.
• Support field testing and training for EW systems.
• Spectrum management in support of EW field operations.
• Analyze and develop Electronic Attack and Sensing techniques.
• Provide SME support in installation, maintenance, testing, calibration, and operation of diverse equipment per specs.
• Assist with test/evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks.
• Review change proposals for equipment impacts.
• Provide data and evaluation for components installation and systems per plans and contracts.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of terrestrial EW and radar employment, capability, and technical capabilities/limitations

Personnel Clearance Level

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive)

• Problem solving in a large real time complex EW system environment
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and develop complex system designs and architectures
• Support field testing and training using DoW accredited EW Systems
• Spectrum management in support of EW field operations
• Analyze and develop Electronic Attack (EA) and Sensing (ES) techniques
• Provide subject matter expertise in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications
• Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks
• Review change proposals for equipment impacts
• Provide technical data and evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
