Role: Integration Consultant - SOA

Job Description:

Description

Seeking an expert with strong hands-on experience in application integration technologies. Responsibilities include implementing projects using integration platforms like Oracle SOA, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud-based solutions. Define processes and plans for incremental migration of services and scripts from the current environment to cloud solutions. Collaborate with technical team members (developers, administrators, quality analysts) to analyze and document existing architecture, functionality, and dependencies of applications.

Evaluate options, formulate solutions, assess feasibility, determine cost models, develop timelines, and align with functional requirements. Translate requirements into high-level technical architecture.

Require strong design and troubleshooting skills, with understanding or experience in multiple web service protocols, programming languages, security, development methodologies, and governance. Create, enhance, modify, and develop enterprise and custom connectors.

Work with enterprise platforms for CRM, HR, Procurement, and Finance to implement or modify integrations.

Experience with Microservices development is a plus. Manage multiple high-priority projects with varying deadlines. Define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business requirements.

Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering hardware capacity and limitations. Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate into system specifications.

Provide consultation on complex projects, contributing to systems analysis phases, considering business implications of technology applications.

Contract Job Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
2. Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities.
3. Develop technical applications to support users.
4. Implement, maintain, and enforce standards and procedures for system design, development, and documentation.
5. Provide training on system products and procedures.
6. Perform application upgrades.
7. Monitor and report on real-time databases, network, serial data communications, and real-time applications.
8. Troubleshoot problems.
9. Ensure project lifecycle compliance with District standards and procedures.
