As such, there will likely be work outside the database domain required.

It allows stakeholders to share a working environment among the Fleet, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), acquisition communities, and component commands to facilitate a common picture of individual platforms mission capabilities and identified shortfalls. This knowledge enables decision makers to select the most capable platform to fill mission needs and identifies capability gaps that steers Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) Modernization.
