Active Staffing Services in the Bronx, NY seeks a Route Driver to safely deliver boxes across NYC’s Metro Area (5 Boroughs) with a refrigerated 16 ft truck and professional customer service.

Requirements: non-CDL with valid license and 1 year driving; 25+ years old; clean MVR with no DUIs in 3 years; able to lift 50+ lbs; read/write English; able to work 2nd shift, weekends, and holidays; home daily; pay $23/hr plus tips and overtime.

Job description

1+ Experience driving in the 5 boroughs, Start ASAP.

Bronx NY 10454.

The Bronx/Brooklyn Route Driver is responsible for providing efficient and safe delivery of boxes to our customers within the NYC Metro Area (5 Boroughs and other areas). The driver operates a refrigerated 16 ft truck and operates a hand truck to assist when making deliveries. Our drivers deliver orders to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time. They are expected to provide professional customer service.

Pay Rate

• Non-CDL Driver: $23.00/hr + Tips + Overtime.
• Paid weekly every Friday.

Schedule

• Shift: 2nd shift 8-hour shift
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and Holidays
• Non CDL - Home every day - no overnight routes

Training

• In the Bronx location for 1 week am shift.

Requirements

• Non-CDL: Valid license + 1yr exp. driving truck.
• 25+ years old, clean MVR, no DUIs in 3 years.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. and pass DOT drug test.
• Ability to clearly communicate and read in English.
• Must be able to deliver orders up to 50 lbs in weight to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time (this may include walking up or down several flights of stairs).
• Ability to utilize smartphones for two-way communication with company Operations Team.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug test.
