Job summary

DC Army National Guard in Tulsa, OK seeks an Aircraft Structural Repairer to inspect, service, and repair aircraft structural components for readiness. You will work with drawings, manuals, and safety protocols to keep planes prepared for training, rescue, and missions.

Training includes 10 weeks of basic training plus 15 weeks of advanced instruction. You’ll benefit from paid training, a regular paycheck, and tuition assistance while developing skills for civilian aviation careers.

• Proven mathematical ability and shop mechanics understanding.

• Experience or ability to learn aircraft structural repair concepts.

Job training for Soldiers in the Aircraft Structural Repairer specialty consists of 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training, plus 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. During this time, you will learn essential Soldiering skills and refine your aircraft repair abilities in the field and the classroom.

Requirements

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
