Nortal is seeking an AEM Architect / Tech Lead to define migration strategy for moving an on-prem AEM deployment to AEM as a Cloud Service. You will lead the migration hands-on across brands and drive the Java 21 upgrade path while coordinating with US clients.

Join a 100% remote LATAM-enabled team, deliver architecture decisions, and mentor developers to ensure scalable, secure solutions. This role emphasizes English communication and strong architectural leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in software development with strong Java and architecture background.
• 5+ years hands-on AEM, including AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Proven experience leading AEM on-prem to cloud migrations.
• Experience with platform and runtime upgrades (Java 21 a plus).
• Advanced English level required for US clients.

About the project

As a AEM tech lead / architect, you will define the migration strategy and target architecture for moving an on-premises AEM deployment to AEM as a Cloud Service for a large, multi-brand website, lead the team hands-on throughout the migration, and drive the upgrade path toward Java 21.
