Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator at the Hobart, WI distribution center. The role requires operating a forklift, loading and unloading, and maintaining safe, organized docks and shelves.

This first-shift position offers competitive pay of $25.54 per hour, comprehensive benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and opportunities for career growth within our diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Warehouse Management System.
• Ability to drive a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized distribution center and docks areas.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, receive, and pick pallets in the warehouse.
• Rotate palletized products and verify counts with supervision.
• Complete safety inspections and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Keep the DC neat and organized; prevent product damage.
• Support ad hoc tasks as needed.

Job Description:

About the role:

• Have a working knowledge of the Warehouse Management System
• Drive a fork truck safely and efficiently including filling out required safety inspection reports and notifying leadership of unsafe conditions.
• Responsible for loading, unloading, moving, receiving, order picking, and rotating palletized products in the warehouse.
• Working with supervision and floor leaders to verify product counts and complete needed tasks
• Keep the distribution center and docks areas neat and organized.
• Assist with eliminating product and package damage.
• Adhere to the TreeHouse Foods Code of Ethics
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, food safety, and quality standards.
• Other ad hoc items as needed.

Important Details:

This is a permanent, full-time position on the 1st shift. In accordance with the union contract, the current pay rate is$25.54.
