Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical oversight for Registered Behavior Technicians and to ensure evidence-based ABA services are delivered according to HHSC requirements. You will lead program analysis, staff training, assessments and coordination across teams.

Qualifications

  • BCBA certification with Texas licensure in good standing.
  • One year of relevant experience, preference for autism.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and delivering ABA services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of RBTs.
  • Ensure delivery of evidence-based ABA services per HHSC.
  • Lead program analysis, staff training, and assessments.
  • Coordinate care across MHMR programs and partners.
  • Maintain quality assurance and trauma-informed practices.

For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. Indirect - Administrative/Clerical/Customer Service

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical oversight and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ensures the delivery of evidence based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in accordance with HHSC requirements. The BCBA is responsible for program analysis and planning, staff training, assessments and coordination, and quality assurance while providing direct services to children and families. This role requires collaboration with internal MHMR programs and community partners and the use of trauma informed practices that promote felt safety, regulation, and family engagement, consistent with MHMR and Child and Family Services missions and values.

Defined Education:Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related Health and Human Services field

Preference: Experience working with children and youth ages 3 years old to age 15 years old

Years’ Experience:One (1) year of experience

Defined Experience:Experience working with children/youth with Autism

License/Certifications: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Texas, current license with no restrictions.
