Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays under the IFSP. The role emphasizes early intervention in natural environments and collaboration with families.

Preferred candidates have ASHA CCC or CFY in Texas, licensure as an SLP, and experience with early childhood and pediatrics; a Texas Driver’s License is required.

Qualifications

• ASHA CCC or CFY status and Texas SLP license
• Experience with infants/toddlers and pediatric populations
• Current Texas driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, feeding and swallowing services to infants and toddlers
• Collaborate with families to implement IFSP goals

Direct Care - Speech Therapist/Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist

As aSpeech Language Pathologist provides speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorder service to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families asidentifiedin the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).This role also ensures that all (0-3) children are servedtimelyand appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights, and needs.This position fully embraces the mission and 7 key principals for providing early intervention services in the natural environment.

Defined Education: Speech and Language Pathology

Preferences: Experience in Early Childhood and Pediatrics

License/Certifications: ASHA CCC SLP or Clinical Fellow working toward CCC SLP; Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Intern (CFY) license in Texas; Valid Texas Driver’s License
