Job summary

PJS of Texas is seeking personnel for evening maintenance duties in our facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas, plus trash removal and floor care. The role requires reliability, a neat appearance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Ideal candidates are able to work Monday–Friday evenings, follow directions, and thrive in both independent and team settings, with a positive work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restroom(s).
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking kitchen(s).
• Cleaning break rooms/conference rooms/lobbies.
• General floor cleaning: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming.
• Removing trash and replacing bags.
• Taking trash and recycling to dumpsters.
• Other duties as assigned (dusting, windows, detailing).

Job description

Monday – Friday 6pm – 15pm

Responsibilities and Duties May Include:

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restroom(s) including but not limited to sinks, floors, mirrors, doors, counters and toilets.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking kitchen(s) including but not limited to sinks, doors, tables, counters, refrigerators, and floors.
• Cleaning and sanitizing break room(s) and/or conference room(s) and/or lobbies including but not limited to floors, tables, and chairs.
• General floor cleaning, including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming carpeted areas
• Removing trash/trash bags and replacing trash bags.
• Removing trash and recycling from the building to assigned dumpsters.
• Additional duties as assigned may include but are not limited to dusting, window cleaning, and detailing.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours (Monday-Friday evening availability).
• Follow instructions and is eager to learn.
• Presents a neat and professional appearance.
• Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Has the ability to work successfully in both independent and team settings.
• Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the duration of the shift.
