Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN with Telemetry experience for a night shift assignment in San Marcos, TX. The role runs 13 weeks, starts ASAP, and involves 7 PM–7 AM scheduling with onsite work. The position offers weekly pay including a $1,267 stipend and base pay of $19–$20/hour.

The contract begins 11/16/2026 and spans 13 weeks, with travel to IMC MedSurg as needed. RN license in TX or compact, and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required (AHA only).
• ACLS required (AHA only).
• RN License in state of TX or compact.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families in accordance with their level of practice.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
