Job summary

Nightingale's List is seeking a travel nurse for a Correctional RN assignment in Appleton, MN. The role is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day/night rotating shifts at a correctional facility.

This W-2 position includes a weekly housing and meals stipend for eligible candidates; multiple openings with days and nights available, 12-hour shifts on a 36/48 rotation. Overtime possible on 48-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required.
• Border State Registry eligibility for MN if licensed in ND, SD, IA, or WI.
• Current BLS certification.
• U.S. citizenship required for federal facility clearance.
• Ability to pass a federal background and fingerprinting.
• Experience in correctional, ER, inpatient, or mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and monitor conditions.
• Administer medications and manage treatments.
• Conduct sick calls and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient care for an incarcerated population.
