Job summary

Nightingale's List LLC is seeking Registered Nurses for a 13-week local contract at a correctional facility in Appleton, MN. Shifts are 12 hours, days and nights, on a 36/48 rotation, with W-2 employment.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, sick calls, emergency response, and meticulous documentation for an incarcerated population. Minnesota RN license and BLS are required, with additional clearance steps after offer.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license is required (MN not a compact state).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for federal facility clearance.
• Ability to pass a federal background check, credit check and fingerprinting.
• Correctional, ER, inpatient, or mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and medication administration for an incarcerated population.
• Conduct sick calls and respond to emergencies.
• Accurately document care and treatment in the medical record.

Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week local contract at a correctional facility in Appleton, MN. Multiple openings, days and nights available, 12-hour shifts on a 36/48 rotation. W-2 employment.

Duties include assessments, medication administration, sick call, emergency response, and documentation for an incarcerated population.

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota RN license (Minnesota is not a compact state; a multistate license from another state does not qualify). Nurses licensed in ND, SD, IA, or WI may be eligible through Minnesota's Border State Registry. Ask us about the process if you are not yet MN-licensed.
• Current BLS
• US citizenship (required for federal facility clearance)
• Ability to pass a federal background check, credit check, and fingerprinting
• Correctional, ER, inpatient, or mental health experience preferred

Clearance takes roughly 2 to 3 weeks after offer.

This role requires an active Minnesota RN license before start. Federal facility clearance (2 to 4 weeks) is required after offer acceptance. Contract extensions are common.
