Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in El Paso, TX, providing acute and outpatient care. 1 year of recent PT experience and an active Texas PT license are required.

Typical day is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend rotation in a hospital-based PT/OT/ST department; Meditech EMR is used. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred due to a heavy Hispanic patient population.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent physical therapy experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Texas state PT license required if applicable.
• Outpatient and acute care experience required.
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and outpatient PT services in a hospital-based department.
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM day shift with weekend rotation.
• Perform PT evaluations, reassessments and treatments for acute and outpatient populations.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred due to patient population.
