Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Salem, Oregon. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for varied patient populations in an acute care setting, with supervision of PTAs and daily charting. The role requires 40 hours per week, 13 weeks, and days shift.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. BLS and state licensing are required to begin the assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads are welcome.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes
• Use Medical Center computer systems daily
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines
