Job summary

This is a direct temporary role, not agency, with rotating 3x12 hour shifts. 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred; CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required; conversion to FT may be offered after the contract; not benefits-eligible.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by state requirements.
• One year of nursing experience; behavioral/psychiatric experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required; first aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families.
• Administer medications and document counts of controlled substances.
• Communicate with physicians and ensure treatment plans are followed.
