Sweetwater Care seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for AZ Inpatient Rehab Hospital with local contract options. The RN will conduct patient assessments, plan care, oversee interventions, and evaluate outcomes to prevent complications and restore patient independence.
The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and preferred ACLS certification, with 1 year of acute care experience and flexibility in hours. Electronic charting experience is expected.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:
The role is responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle. Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality and efficient patient care according to established standards. Ensures that professional and acute nursing care has been provided to all patients. Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards. Performs other duties as directed. Assist patients in regaining their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence.
