Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Installer (12V) in Ocala, FL. The role focuses on assembling under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and related electrical components for firetruck production.

You will program lights per specifications and troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuits. This contract-to-hire position offers a 5:30am-4:00pm Mon-Thu schedule with potential overtime and a pay range of $19-$24 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Ability to read blueprints and wire harnesses.
• Proficiency in crimping and electrical assembly.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.

Responsibilities

• Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, and circuit boards.
• Program lights from engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Test products to ensure performance to specifications.
• Read specs to ensure trucks are built according to specifications.
• Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, and door locks.
• Fix quality issues.
