Job summary

Biomerics, a world-class manufacturer in the medical device materials sector, seeks a Production Associate for our Mebane, NC facility. You will work on the production floor, perform packing, inspections, and follow quality plans.

This full-time role requires basic communication in English, ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to GMP/ISO documentation standards. Day shifts on a 12-hour, 2-2-3 rotating schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic reading of English required.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation standards (OP 34 / OP W23).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-based mindset and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Briefly discuss issues from the previous shift with the inspector/shift supervisor.
• Inspect product per Quality Plan and record information on the proper form.
• Pack product per Quality Plan or documented concession.
• Communicate with Supervisor for further instructions.
• Perform secondary operations and rework as directed.
• Secondary tasks include drilling, trimming, sorting, and assembly.
• Report quality and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain GMP procedures and housekeeping.
• Keep records as required and perform other duties.

Responsibilities

• Briefly talk with Inspector Packer/Shift Supervisor about problems that happened during the previous shift.
• Inspect product per Quality Plan, Criteria Board, or other documented instructions- record information on proper form.
• Pack product per Quality Plan or documented concession.
• Communicate with the Supervisor for further instructions.
• Perform secondary operations and rework per Quality Plans, Criteria Boards and as instructed by Supervisor.
• Secondary and rework operations include and are not limited to drilling, trimming, sorting and assembly.
• Report any quality and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Housekeeping and GMP Procedures
• Maintain record keeping as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Work Standards:

• Basic Communication Skills, be able to read, understand basic English
• Understand expectations of ISO documentation: Specifically, OP 34 and OP W23
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Education:

• HSD or GED – Preferred but not required

Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting - Preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Day Shift 7:00am - 7:00pm 12-hour shift on a 2,2,3 rotating schedule
