Biomerics, a world-class manufacturer and polymer solutions provider for medical devices, is seeking a Night Shift Inspector/Packager in North Carolina. You will inspect products per Quality Plan, document results, pack products, and communicate with the shift supervisor to ensure quality and GMP compliance.

The role requires basic reading in English, basic GMP knowledge, and the ability to stand long shifts (12 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and comprehension of English required.
• Follow ISO documentation references like OP 34 and OP W23.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team player and reliable.

Responsabilités

• Briefly talk with inspector/shift supervisor about problems from the previous shift.
• Inspect product per Quality Plan and record information on proper form.
• Pack product per Quality Plan or documented concession.
• Communicate with the supervisor for further instructions.
• Perform secondary operations and rework per Quality Plans and supervisor instructions.
• Secondary operations include drilling, trimming, sorting and assembly.
• Report quality and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping and GMP procedures.
• Keep required records and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Briefly talk with Inspector Packer/Shift Supervisor about problems that happened during the previous shift.
• Inspect product per Quality Plan, Criteria Board, or other documented instructions- record information on proper form.
• Pack product per Quality Plan or documented concession.
• Communicate with the Supervisor for further instructions.
• Perform secondary operations and rework per Quality Plans, Criteria Boards and as instructed by Supervisor.
• Secondary and rework operations include and are not limited to drilling, trimming, sorting and assembly.
• Report any quality and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Housekeeping and GMP Procedures
• Maintain record keeping as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Work Standards:

• Basic Communication Skills, be able to read, understand basic English
• Understand expectations of ISO documentation: Specifically, OP 34 and OP W23
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Team Player

Education:

• HSD or GED – Preferred but not required

Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting - Preferred but not required

Training:

• Good Documentation Practices
• Good Manufacturing Practices
• Instruction/Training in pertinent areas related to position

Schedule:

• 12-hour Night shift on a 2,2,3 rotating schedule (8:00pm-8:00am)
