Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives and drivers with traffic management experience. Operatives will join teams to set up and manage temporary traffic controls, reading CAD drawings and ensuring safety compliance.

Candidates should have the 12D M5 Lantra qualification, be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check, and have the Right to Work in the UK. Team players who can meet targets and work with both direct and sub-contract labour are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management roles, including setup and control of temporary traffic measures.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol check and hold UK Right to Work status.
• Able to work with direct or sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights and ensuring public compliance.
• Reporting to site or operations manager as needed and maintaining safety standards.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings to ensure correct setup.
• Unloading/loading materials and supporting RAMS compliance.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
