Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to work on major UK traffic management projects. You will set up traffic lights, control traffic flow, and ensure safety on site while reading CAD drawings and complying with RAMS and health & safety requirements.

Candidates should have the 12D M5 Lantra qualification, be able to pass drugs/alcohol checks, and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations and delivering on-site targets.
• 12D M5 Lantra qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to pass drugs and alcohol checks.
• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Committed to health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights on site.
• Manage traffic flow at light signals.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Read CAD drawings and implement RAMS.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with procedures.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
