Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a Fall 2026 RN Residency Program that begins October or November 2026. The 12-month transition-to-practice program combines precepted orientation with blended learning to support new graduates, across units such as Acute Care, Critical Care, ED, Women’s Services, and more.

The program emphasizes clinical judgment, communication, peer socialization, and professional commitment to nursing, with dedicated mentorship and education tailored to new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (for those graduating August 2026 or earlier).
• Current license in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC multistate RN license.
• BLS CPR certification (please upload your BLS CPR card to your application).

Responsibilities

• The Staff RN provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
