The program covers Acute Care, Critical Care, ED, Women's Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more, with opportunities to develop clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program, eligible for Georgia RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certification encouraged where applicable.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Demonstrate leadership, effective communication, and initiative in stressful environments.
